Alright, brides, you can thank me later for this killer find! I was recently lucky enough to shoot a gorgeous wedding at Mount Hood, in Oregon. You won’t believe where it was. An Airbnb! Only 3.3 miles from Highway 26, your guests won’t have a hard time getting to The Burke Cabin at all! The 700 square foot cabin on the property sleeps four people comfortably. Perfect for you and your bridal party the night before the wedding!
This sweet and secluded log cabin on 34 acres (all to yourself!) has exceptional Mt. Hood views with the wilderness all around. There are endless photo opportunities in the fields and forested areas. Each spot more beautiful than the last with its own unique view of the mountain ranges in the area.
If you’re worried about where your guests will stay, don’t be! The Burke Cabin is close enough to Mount Hood Village, and Rhododendron that there are lots of great options nearby, like the Whispering Woods Resort. Not to mention there’s lots of other cool Airbnb’s in the area! Or, you could have your guest BYOT: Bring Your Own Tent for some seriously awesome camping right there on the property with you.
When you head into town, make sure to check out the Skyway Bar and Lounge to cut loose and dance! It’s a great spot to relax, with live music, a fire pit & outdoor picnic tables. Don’t forget to grab some of their BBQ!
